Flatland Pointers and Boxers also provides a Stud Service for both breeds. All services will be held at the facility of Flatland Pointers and Boxers so that proper documentation can be noted as to when and how many times the dogs mate. Stud fees vary according to which stud you are interested in and what registrations the stud carries. Below is a general service contract for you to look over. STUD SERVICE AGREEMENT

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
- Prior to breeding, the owner of the bitch must provide, to the owner of the stud, a copy of the ________ Registration Certificate, a record of current vaccinations, proof of worming within six months of the breeding date, and a negative Brucellosis test that is dated no more than thirty (30) days before the mating from a licensed veterinarian of their choice.
- Stud owner must provide, to the owner of the bitch, a copy of the studs ________ Registration Certificate, a record of current vaccinations, and proof of worming within six months of the breeding date.
- It is understood that the stud dog owner shall maintain reasonable care of the bitch while at the stud dog owner’s facility or under the care of the stud dog owner or agent.
- The stud dog owner or agent shall provide all food (Black Gold Brand: __________ Formula), water (Well Water), and proper sheltering for the time of year and weather conditions.
- The stud dog owner or agent shall not be responsible for any sickness, injury or death of the bitch while under their supervision. However, if an accident or sickness should occur, it is the stud owner’s responsibility to immediately notify the bitch’s owner so that proper care can be carried out.
6. Stud dog owner guarantees only a mating, and makes no guarantees as to
the pregnancy of said bitch or of puppies living or dead, unless otherwise
stated and agreed to herein.
7.Stud owner makes no representations as to the quality or quantity of the
litter produced from this mating, and bitch owner agrees to make no claims
against stud owner for same.
8. Owner of the stud dog shall not be held responsible for any and all
veterinarian fees that may incur as a result of the breeding.
9. It is the bitch owner’s responsibility to be sure that the bitch is brought to
the stud dog at the proper time for breeding.
10. All costs for transportation of bitch to and from stud dog owner’s kennel
shall be the responsibility of the bitch owner.
11. It is the bitch owner’s responsibility to advise of any kennel habits the bitch
may have that could possibly present a problem in giving adequate and safe
care while in the stud dog owner’s possession, and also furnish any instructions
and medication for any special care required.
12. The owner of the bitch will provide, to the owner of the stud dog, a kennel
for night time for the bitch to sleep in, which will be kept indoors. (OPTIONAL)
13. The bitch’s owner must be willing and able to provide proper care for the
proposed litter.
14. The cost of the tail docking and removal of dew claws (to be done within
the first 36 hours after birth) by a licensed veterinarian will be the responsibility
of the bitch owner.
15. The same conditions will stand for all vaccinations and wormings.
16. Owner of the bitch hereby agrees to furnish owner of stud dog with photos
of the litter.
17. If the bitch dies or aborts before whelping, the stud dog owner must be
notified immediately.
18. One puppy constitutes a litter.
STUD FEE IS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Stud fee is to be paid in a puppy.
2. Stud owner have pick of the litter and will make choice of litter no later than when the puppies are four weeks of age. Failure to do so results in forfeit of the puppy.
5. At time of stud owner’s possession of the choice puppy, bitch owner shall deliver to stud owner a certificate from a veterinarian stating that the puppy has been examined, is in good health, and has had its first series of vaccinations and worming, as well as the puppy’s litter registration for proper filing.
